With all of the young Parkers in our family...including the youthful Grandpa Don ~ it seemed appropriate that todays "Throwback Thursday" would feature a picture of Great Grandma Parker!

When Jim & Connie lived in the East, they took us (almost a decade ago) to a Norman Rockwell museum. This was the first time I had ever seen this picture and it reminded me of Great Grandma Parker. I bought a small print ~ the last I remember, it was in one of the rooms upstairs (at mom and dad's).

Astro Blasters

I was going through my old e-mails and I found these pictures of the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters! What a fun vacation!

Last night mom and I attended a water aerobics class. We had a lot of fun and it really is a great workout. Since we had such a good time we are going to try and go to the class often. Mom is also riding her bike in the morning before work. Way to go mom!

Grandpa and grandma went fishing. Grandpa caught the big one and grandma caught the little one. We were both very proud. However, with the cost of the licenses, boat and car gas, food and a new battery, we figure that the fish cost us $100 each!! Hmmmmmm

Tufts Family Swim Lessons ~

The kids started swim lessons this week.

They usually hold hands while they wait for their teacher.

It is cute to watch them together!

Grandpa Dee turns 80

Disneyland!

Celebrating Grandpa's 60th Birthday at Disneyland was a great idea! We all have great memories of our trip together.

What a good looking family~ But who knew those red shirts would get us into so much trouble?

Grandma and Grandpa at their favorite cafe in Disneyland. They have been visiting the Carnation for nearly 3 decades. The kids loved the "Painter's Palate" where they made their very own PB & Jelly sandwiches complete with chocolate chips, marshmallows, and bananas.

The girls wanted to wait to see the princesses. But the little boys?... they wanted nothing to do with Cinderella! They seemed very grateful for the protection offered by Samson's legs.

Carson was minding his own business sitting on a bench with the Tomagotchi when Snow White appeared out of nowhere. He was not amused, although by the looks of it.... He is amused!

Pin trading provided so much fun for all the kids (and some of the moms!)

At the end of our two days at Disneyland ~ We were worn out...
The fireworks were a fantastic finale!
